Author's notes:
This entire story is based on a dream I had about two nights ago. It really had to do with my entire family being taken over, but I think Oz's will be a little more interesting. I also had rabid weasels in my dream, which still doesn't make sense to me. Also, I don't know anything about Oz's family, so you decide who they look like. I'm going to say he has a little sister, who's seven, and parents. If he doesn't in 'real' life, deal with it. Also, this is about Season two, months after Phases and Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered, but none of those other episode following it happened, meaning poor John Ritter never got to be on Buffy... but Spike can walk and isn't in a wheel chair, because that would complicate the story, and Willow's doing magic. This is definitely an alternate timeline event, so just go with the flow.

The little girl screamed as loud as she could, and with all the courage she could muster, swatted at the man standing over her.

"Well that's not very lady-like," he whispered in a drawling, British accent.
The girl looked over at her mother and father, huddled at the base of a tree, staring at her. They were too scared of this blond haired man to save their only daughter.

Spike originally was just going out for a walk. He wasn't planning on eating, he only wanted to enjoy the night air, and get the hell away from Angel and Dru.
He loved Dru. He loved her with all of his unbeating heart. But, Spike constantly wondered whether Dru loved him as well. Sure, she said he did, but as soon as her sire lost his soul, and returned to her side, it seemed Spike didn't even exists anymore.
Spike stared up at the moon, or lack there-of, it was a new moon. He had cursed himself for ever allowing Angelus to live with him and Dru, when he heard the laughter. He turned the corner of the park path, and saw them.
When he saw the family, his stomach couldn't help but scream for blood. The girl had been easy enough to stray away from her parents. But, Spike had wanted to eat the adults, kids weren't that tasty. However, it seemed he would be forced to kill this child, it wouldn't stop screaming.
"Please, that stupid slayer will hear you," Spike bent down to cover the girls mouth, when he felt something smack the back of his head.
The man had thrown a rock at him.
"Ow, that hurt! Honestly, who throws rocks?"
"Get your hands off my baby!" the woman cried, as the man reached for another stone.
"Do you really think a lousy rock can stop me? It would take some large, crazed demon to keep from eating my dinner," Spike immediately wished he hadn't said it.
A large, crazed red demon with huge, cracking lips and 3 slimy, sticky tentacles came out of nowhere, and immediately turned to Spike.
Spike pushed the girl away, and turned to run, but the father clubbed him with another stone. In his panic, Spike fell to the ground.
The monster advanced on the vampire, it's lips widening.
Spike yelled, and punched the monster.
Surprisingly, the monster fell to the ground, panting for breath.
"Bloody hell," Spike mumbled, rubbing his fist and backing away from the demon.
The demon stood up, and instead of going to Spike, turned on the parents, and charged them.
Spike took this as his cue to run like mad.
"Emily, RUN!" screamed the woman, trying to back away from the huge monster.
Emily watched as the monster reached for her mother, lips parting. She screamed and went running in the opposite direction of the demon.
She ran right into her brother and his friends.

"Jesus!" Oz yelled as he hit the ground, "Emily, what are you doing here?"
Emily sobbed into Oz's arms, only managing to get out one word, "Mommy."
Oz, sensing something was amiss, sniffed the air, "Someone's afraid." He pointed in the direction that Emily had come.
"It's mommy and daddy," Emily sobbed, holding on to her brother.
Buffy and Giles immediately ran towards the park (where the monster was attacking Oz's parents), and Xander and Willow stayed to calm Emily.
"It's okay, it's okay," Oz whispered, quieting her, "Come on."
Oz lifted Emily, and turned to Willow, "To the park."
The four of them hurried to the park.
When they got to the park, Oz was horrified. His father was helping Giles calm Oz's mom, who was on the ground, completely out of it.
Buffy, meanwhile, was battling the demon, which had super strong offence, but no defensive skills whatsoever.
Buffy kicked it in the forehead, causing the demon to fall to the ground.
Buffy raised her stake high, while jumping on the demon's chest. It widened it's lips, as a last defense, but it was useless as Buffy swung her arm down on the beast.
The crazed red demon was finally reduced to dust, and Buffy smiled at her win.
She stood up, everyone was watching her, "It was way strong, but I dunno, I knocked it down really easily."
There was a rustling noise of in the distance. Everyone tensed.
After a beat, Xander pointed to a shadowy corner of the park, where Spike was emerging. Oz's family cringed at the sight of him.
"What the hell was that thing?!" Spike asked Giles, out of breath, and dusting himself off.
"Don't you talk to him," Buffy sneered, holding up her stake, ready to finally kill her nemesis.
"Fine, fine," Spike held up his hands, guarding his heart, and took a few deep breathes, "One word of advice; watch out for the woman. That thing had huge lips, and I'm ruddy sure it kissed her." Spike and everyone looked at Mrs. Osborne, who shrugged.
"What are you talking about? It never kissed me," she stared at them blankly, and her expression was hard to read, something in her eyes was different. They were oddly clouded, glowing.
Opening Credits
"Mom, Dad, I'm gonna leave for school now," Oz scratched his head as he got up from the table.
He looked at his parents, but neither of them said a word, they just stared at the passerby through the kitchen window.
Oz couldn't see them, but their eyes looked hungry.
Emily glanced at Oz, pleading with him. She wanted Oz to drive her to school, Mrs. Osborne usually did, but she had been acting weird all night.
"Okay, and I'll take Emily," Oz and Emily reached for their bags, and their parents glared at them. It wasn't really a glare, their mouths looked mad, but their eyes had no expression at all.
Oz grabbed his guitar case, and motioned Emily to get out of the house, something was seriously wrong with their parents. His dad's eye were clouded too. And shiny. Almost glowing.
"Okay, I'll be home late. I have detention and a date with Willow," Oz went to the door, hurrying.
Oz's mom pushed the werewolf, and blocked his way from leaving.
"Mom, I gotta go, stop blocking the door," Oz's voice cracked as he noticed his dad was behind him.
They were cornering him.
Now he noticed the hungriness in their eyes.
Oz sniffed the air, which was suddenly humid, heavy.
He smelled his own fear, and something else, something that was definitely not his parent's normal scent.
Oz looked up slowly at his mother, gripping his guitar case in fright. His knuckles were turning white.
"Give your mother a kiss," she said slowly, and reached for his neck. Oz watched in terror as her fingers wrapped around his neck and her lips widened. They grew.
Oz blindly pushed her away with his guitar case and ran out the door.
He stumbled into his car, and drove as fast as he could to school.

"I'm telling you, it was weird. Her lips totally swelled, and she was really trying to kiss me," Oz stared at the floor, still in shock.
"Well, I will certainly research it, Oz. With our knowledge of what it looks like, and how it acts, I'm sure we can find some valid information. Oh, my books and I are in for one exciting day!" Giles ignored the group's glares and giggles.
"Oh I have detention," Oz said, utterly relieved to have an excuse to get out of an all nighter of research.
"I can help 'til 6, but not after," Willow added, making Oz smile. Their date was set for right after he left the detention room.
"Fine, fine. But, Buffy, Xander and Cordelia?" Giles looked at the hopefully. The three reluctantly nodded.

It was 4:47, Oz was supposed to be in detention for another hour and 13 minutes. That was 73 minutes. 4,380 seconds. He was bored.
Oz stared at the clock, counting in his head the seconds. If he fell asleep, time would fly.
Oz wasn't tired though, and even sleep was more boring than this.
Oz finished his homework hours ago. He tapped his pencil on the side of his desk over, and over. Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap. Tap-tap. Tap-tap. Tap-tap. Tap-tap-tap-tap-tap-tap-
"OZ!" Snyder glared at him, "STOP WITH THE PENCIL!"
Oz smiled, and put his pencil away. Not without a final tap, of course.
Deciding to just try and sleep, Oz put his head down on the wooden desk, and closed his eyes, and began to dream.

He was in pain.
Oz was lying on the ground, he didn't know where he was, maybe the library?
People were running away, confused. Willow was performing magic.

Oz was seeing red. But not the mad red, the pain of red. Oz felt like a battle was going on in his stomach.
It felt like something that had been inside of him for months was fighting a new comer, someone or something bad that was trying to take over him...

And winning.
Pain shot through Oz's body, and he could feel the smells and heightened senses leaving. It was as if his werewolf was leaving him.
But why would it leave him?

Oz woke up in the detention room, a severe pain in his stomach. Snyder was looking at him with worry.
Oz immediately suspected he had been moaning.
"Please, leave your pleasure dreams for the bedroom, not the classroom Daniel," Snyder sneered, and turned back to the papers on his desk.
Oz turned red and stared at the desk, knowing that the dream had been nothing close to pleasurable.
It was slowly slipping away from him, until he couldn't remember having ever fallen asleep.

"Here, I've got it," Willow stood up, pointing down at the book she was holding.
"It's called the Sorcerer of Kisss, with three s'. It says here that he was a king 5000 years ago, he had like 10 mistresses. His wife was a practicing witch, and when she found out about all these mistresses, she cast a spell on him, making him a demon forever. Since he was always kissing so many women, he obtained the power to posses people through a kiss, thus the name the Sorcerer of Kisss. He was obviously easy to kill, but the spell is still going on. That may be the point, he would be killed quickly, but a part of him would have to always live in pain, inside the person he has possessed. I think Oz's mom was possessed last night, Spike said she was kissed. Now, Mrs. Osborne will be able to spread the demon, while keeping it in herself as well. His dad is probably already taken over," Willow looked up from her book, frightened.
"So, whoever Oz's mom swapped spit with is now a demon?" Xander asked.
"Yes," Willow nodded, "And, this stupid book doesn't say--" Willow flipped through the pages, "It doesn't say how to stop it, not without killing Oz's mom!"
"Well, at least we know what it is called, that way we can like, look up some more stuff," Cordelia waved her hand, gesturing towards the stacks, "Oh goody. Another all-nighter at the library with the scoobies."
"Please, try to conceal you excitement, and keep in mind, you're know considered a scooby" joked Xander.
"Don't say that," gasped Cordelia, "Oh god," she shook her head in disgust as it dawned on her. She was a scooby.
"Okay, so it's 10 'till six, Oz is almost free," Buffy said, trying to enlighten the situation.
"Yes, yes of course. Willow, you and Oz have a good time tonight, we will find out how to stop this thing," Giles patted Willow on the back, "Right scoobies?"
Cordelia, Xander and Buffy stared at Giles.
"Just, trying to uh- be hip? Never mind, just get back to work," Giles went to the stacks.
"Woo hoo," grumbled Buffy.
Oz burst into the library, a bit confused, "Hey everybody."
"Hey Oz, how was detention with Snyder?" Xander looked up from his book, happy for a break (he had been researching for almost 2 whole minutes!)
"I dunno, I fell asleep, I guess," Oz rubbed his head, it seemed like he had forgotten something.
"Really? Neat. Okay let's go," Willow pushed Oz out of the library, and they hurried to the parking lot.
"So, how is the research going?" Oz asked, a bit uncomfortable.
Willow told him everything, the Sorcerer of Kisss, and the mom possession deal.
"Okay, I guess that's cool. Well, ya know what I mean. But, they are all investigating it, so it's not our worry. Let's enjoy our date," Oz mumbled, opening the car door for Willow.
Willow could already tell that they weren't going to enjoy their date.

Oz hadn't been there at the outing (date). Physically, he was there, but the entire date seemed to last years, and he was staring at the floor the entire time.
Willow felt bad when she felt relieved that Oz was taking her home.
"Oh, Oz, my Biology book is in your bedroom," Willow said as they turned down his street to get to hers.
"Okay, we'll make a pit stop," Oz turned into his driveway, and they both got out of the van.
They stood in front of Oz's front door, and Willow sighed inwardly as her boyfriend absently fiddled in his pockets, searching for his house keys.
Willow stopped Oz as he reached for the door knob, "You do realize we have been on a date this evening, right?"
Oz stared at her, trying to process what she had said. Then it registered.
"God, I'm so sorry, I've just been worrying, that's all," Oz felt really bad for ruining Willow's evening. He wrapped his arms around her, and leaned in to kiss her. Just before he did though, a scream rang out from the house.
A scream a lot like that of a seven year old girl.
Oz broke of Willow's hold and ran into the house, Willow right behind him.
Oz ran up the stairs to Emily's bedroom, where the door was ajar.
Oz threw the door open, and gasped.
Emily was screaming and crying, Mr. and Mrs. Osborne were cornering her.
"Give your mummy a kiss, baby," growled Oz's mom. His dad reached down and took hold of Emily's silky pajamas.
Oz burst into the room, knocking over his mom, and punched his father, who dropped Emily.
Willow grabbed Emily and called to Oz, "Let's get out of here!"
Oz kicked his mother, making sure she was knocked out, and turned to his dad.
He punched his father again, who collapsed beside the bed, and they ran out of the room.
"I don't know how long they'll be knocked out," Oz yelled, swinging open the front door. Willow and Emily ran to Oz's van, not saying a word.
Once they were all inside the van, Oz just sat there a minute.
"What are you doing?" screamed Emily, slapping her brother's arm "Drive!"
"I just punched my dad," muttered Oz, staring at his fist, which was turning pink.
"It's okay, it's not your dad, not really. We have to get to the school!" Willow snapped Oz back to reality, who then began to drive.

Once they were in the school parking lot, Oz switched off the van, and pulled Willow and Emily out of it.
"Okay, we have to--"Oz was cut off when he saw Spike running towards them.
Emily screamed, but Willow covered her mouth, telling her it was alright.
"What the devil is going on? I've had like 5 people ask me to kiss them today!" Spike said, stopping in front of Oz.
"Did you kiss any of them?" Willow asked cautiously, backing away from Spike.
"One grabbed me, god it was awful. Something cold was like sucked into my mouth," Oz and Willow backed up, "It was obviously a demon," Spike could tell they were both scared of him, "Don't worry, that thing fought inside me for a while, but remember, a vampire already has a demon inside it, so it died, or whatever."
Spike ran his hands through his blond hair, remembering the feeling he had when the demons inside were fighting. It was like a battle was happening inside his body.
"Right, so you are unaffected by the demon's kiss?" Oz asked, almost smiling.
"Well, yeah," Spike nodded, "Why?"
Spike grunted as Oz grabbed his wrist, and pulled him towards him.
"Come to the library with us," Oz lead them all inside the school.

"What is he doing here?" yelled Buffy, as soon as Oz, Spike, Willow and Emily entered the library. She reached for a stake.
"Are you trying to get me killed?" asked Spike, turning to Oz. Was this guy setting him up?
"Don't worry Spike. Buffy, don't kill Spike. He may be our only hope," Oz pointed to the books spread out on the table, "Do you know how to stop it?"
"Well, there is a spell you can say, the demon passes out of the possessed, and into you, so it's moving, not spreading, but I don't know what to do once there. You must have to kill the holder then, so any way you are killing someone," Giles and everyone else for that matter frowned when Oz broke out into a wide, broad grin.
"This is great!" he yelled, turning to Spike, "What do I have to do to get you to--"
"What?! You want me to kiss everyone in town?" Spike shook his head, "No, not gonna happen, Over 20 people could be possessed by now!"
"What? Why Spike?" asked Cordelia, who had abandoned researching, and switched to brushing her hair, and applying makeup..
"Of course, I never considered it!" Giles threw down the book he was holding, "If a demon tries to posses a vampire, it becomes destroyed by the demon already existing inside the vampire! All we would have to do would be to centralize the demon, get him into one central person. In fact... Xander where is that book, the red one, with a velvet cover?"
Xander shifted through the books, looking for the one Giles was speaking of. He found it and gave it to Giles.
"It says in this book .... here! If someone kisses a person who is already possessed, say Oz's dad kisses Oz's mom, but he performs the spell, so the demon leaves her for good, and enters him. He already has a demon in him, so the one inside the mom gets destroyed. A person can only have one demon in it at a time. So, if we can get this person to kiss as many people as possible, and we would have to work fast, when the numbers are still low, we would have the demon in only one person, then Spike can kiss that one person, after saying the spell. The demon would leave the possessed person forever, and enter Spike. Spike's demon, the vampire one, would attack and destroy the new demon, therefore destroying the entire demon, uninfecting Sunnydale, and permanently stopping this Sorcerer of Kisss," Giles looked at the group for an understanding.
"Whoa, could you repeat that for the people in the studio audience, such as, me" Xander held his head in pain.
"Okay, Someone kisses every infected person, then kisses Spike. Demon goes bye-bye," Buffy said slowly.
"Ooohh," Xander and Cordelia chorused.
"I'll agree to do this, only because if all of Sunnydale is possessed, I won't be able to feed, on one condition," Spike announced, coming down the steps, further into the library.
"What is it?" asked Oz.
"I don't have to end up kissing a guy."

"Who's going to do it? A guy and a girl?" asked Willow, "So the guy kisses the girls, and the girl kisses the guys."
"Well, they don't really touch lips, it kind of got real close, but I never really kissed it," Spike said, oddly happy to be working with this group on the good side.
"In the spreading, you don't have to lock lips, but it says here that to take the entire demon, you must actually get some smoochies," Cordelia said, grossed out.
"Oh," Spike slumped back in his seat, "Well, it has to be one of us, no need to bring someone else into this, right?" The others nodded. "And, I have made myself clear, I am not kissing Oz, Xander or Giles."
"I'll do it, I mean I guess I have to," Buffy stood up, "Okay, let's get this thing. Everyone, do whatever you can, tape your mouths shut, just find all of the possessed people, and get them to the library."
"I think I know a spell to summon them all here, I saw it earlier," Giles opened one of the books, and began to look. Once he found the right page, he passed the book to Willow, the practicing witch.
Spike and Buffy glanced at each other knowing that if everything went according to plan, they would have to ....
"Here, we just need the first person that was possessed, and then we'll be able to do it," Willow looked at Oz, "That's your mom."
Oz nodded, "I'll go get her."
"You won't hurt her, right?" Emily asked Oz, eyes red.
"That's right, Oz you can't unposses her, it'll just ruin everything." Buffy said, patting Emily's back.
Oz nodded and left.
"Okay, I'll study this spell, and get the rest of the supplies form your secret stash, Giles. Buffy, Spike, memorize this spell," Willow handed them a different book, and went to Giles' office, pulling Emily with her.

When Oz came home, something was itching at the back of his head. Something that had to do with Spike.
Oz forgot about that when he found his parents laying in Emily's bedroom, unconscious. He was tempted to take his father to the library as well, but he knew it wouldn't be possible. He could barely lift his mom, let alone another person who weighs even more.
Oz, with guilt, hit his poor mother in the head again, just to be sure, before taking her to the van.

"Okay, Allswothy, tretchen bock, Take the kissed, and leave thy mock, this really makes no sense," Buffy read aloud, waving her hands in disgust.
"Too bad, we still have to do it!" Spike set the book down in between them, and scanned the spell, trying to memorize it. He could feel the Slayer's eye on him, questioning him.
"Why are you doing this?' Buffy asked quietly, so no one else would hear.
"It feels weird to be on the good side for once. Almost, ell good," Spike avoided Buffy's astonished eyes, "Well, it will only be this once. Besides, I don't want--, Well. SHUT YOUR BLOODY HOLE!" Spike ended up yelling, face beet red. Why was he working with them? Was it to get back at Dru and Angel? Spike couldn't even understand his own reasons.
Buffy began laughing, and Spike turned to the group, who was all staring at him.
"I didn't know a vamp could blush," Xander said carefully, trying to sound curious, and not giggly..
"A werewolf can blush, why wouldn't a vampire?" asked Willow, crushing dried wild flowers into a bowl.
"How would you know that werewolves blush?" asked Spike, turning back to the spell, wanting to change subjects, but still interested.
"I'm a werewolf," called Oz, hurrying into the room, dragging his mom.
"You are?" Spike stared at him, Wow I wouldn't have guessed."
"Well, thanks. Anyway, she's starting to wake up."
Xander and Buffy helped Oz put his mom on a spare table.

"Okay, we have everything, let's begin," Willow motioned for Oz and Xander to move closer to her.
They had drawn a large circle on the floor with red chalk, right above the initial opening to the Hell Mouth, and inside were candles, and Mrs. Osborne.
"You guys chant this right here," she handed them both note cards, "And I'll start at the count of three, 1 .... everyone quiet .... 2 .... and 3," Willow opened the book, and the boys began to chant.
Willow sprinkled wild flower grounds over Mrs. Osborne, who suddenly woke up and began to hiss and spit. Her ruby, cracked lips swelled, and Willow began to chant Latin along with Oz and Xander.
Emily held on to Giles' pant leg as a cloud of smoke filled the room. Buffy grabbed a hold of Giles as well, wrapping her arms around his chest.
People began to appear in the room, showing up out of nowhere.
"Keep your mouths closed!" called Spike, making Buffy jump. She had thought she had been holding onto Giles, but she had her arms around Spike.
Buffy edged way from him, as the whirling clouds ceased, and everything calmed. Willow looked worn out, her eyes red from strain. Oz and Xander were sweating profusely.
The possessed were getting over their initial shock of suddenly being transported into a room, and began to look around for someone to posses.
"Okay, now Buffy!" Giles gestured towards the rest, who were turning on each other for smoochies.
Willow suddenly had an idea.
"No, Giles, Buffy, wait," Willow turned to Mrs. Osborne, "You are their leader, you must perform the um, beckoning spell." Willow hoped the demon wasn't too smart.
"Why must I do this?" Mrs. Osborne looked over to Oz, almost as if she knew him.
"They have been unfaithful to you," Oz said, pointing to all of the possessed people, who were at the opposite side of the room than Buffy, Giles, and the others.
"Yes, say these words," Willow showed the spell to Mrs. Osborne, hopeful.
Oz's mom looked from Oz to Willow, trying to figure out what was going on. Finally she came to the conclusion that this would destroy her followers, which was good, because they had been bad.
"Okay, I will!" Mrs. Osborne began to shout the words, "Allswothy, tretchen bock. Take the kissed, leave thy mock!" She kissed one of the men who was possessed, and you could see the ghostly demon leaving him. Mrs. Osborne shook a bit, as the demons inside her fought, but then she was up to perform it again.
With every possessed person she kissed, the weaker she became. The demon inside her was growing weaker.
Something was buzzing in Oz's head, something he should remember.
His mother fell to the floor, near fainting. Her inner demon was wiped.
Oz felt horrible, his mom was near death, and Willow... His Willow was performing memory charms on every single person who was possessed, before Giles heard them out of the school.
Willow was sweating, the magic was getting the best of her.
Oz turned from Willow to his mom. Who should he help?
Mrs. Osborne stood up weakly, and threw herself on Mr. Osborne, who was one of the two possessed left.
Buffy, Xander, Cordelia, Emily and Giles were taking the crowd out of the school, so the only people in the library were Oz, Willow, Oz's parents, a teenage possessed and Spike.
Mrs. Osborne whispered the magic words and kissed Oz's dad.
Spike took the father from the main library, and threw him into a corner.
Oz watched as his mother collapsed with the demons inside her fighting.
All of a sudden, Oz keeled over in pain, an alarm going off in his head.
"Spike, my mom can't handle another demon, you have to kiss the girl," Oz gasped, the banging in his head unbearable.
He knew he was close to remembering something.
"Oh," he stood as he realized it, "I've got to do it."
"What?" Willow and Spike yelled, not understanding.
"In Snyder's detention, I had a dream of demons inside me fighting, I have to kiss the last one, I have to pass it on." Oz was determined.
"No, Oz, you don't have a demon inside of you!" Willow tried to block Oz's way, not allow him to get to the girl.
"Hello, Will. I'm a werewolf. I'm a major demon three days a month!" Oz darted around Willow, needing to stop the Sorcerer of Kisss.
"No, Oz, no!" Spike ran towards them, but Willow held out her hand. Sparks shot form it, stopping him.
"If Oz says he has to do it, he has to do it," Willow just wanted it all to stop. If Oz could stop it...
"No, you don't understand, you don't have a str---"
"Spike, not now!" Oz ran to the teenage girl.
"Hello, you little boy," the girl's lips widened, "Why don't you give me a little kissy?"
Oz's heart was pounding, "Allswothy, tretchen bock. Take thy kissed, leave thy mock!" Oz kissed the girl, and shivered as the demon left her for good.
Spike yelled as Buffy and the others ran into the library, confused.
Willow screamed as the kiss ended, Oz looked sick.
The girl fell to the floor. But no one was watching the girl.

Oz immediately fell backward, groaning. He broke into a cold sweat. It looked like something was ripping him apart from the inside. He screamed in pain. It felt as if a demon that had been inside him for months was fighting with a new comer.
"Oh, bloody hell," Spike ran to Oz. Oz began to cough, to hack. Spike held his head up, swearing, "You idiot, I told you not to do it"
"Spike, you bastard, what's going on," moaned Oz, clutching his stomach.
"What's wrong?" called Willow.
"His demon is a weak one. In fact, it's only a real demon for three days a month, it's not strong enough," Spike held Oz's held while he thought.
Oz was shaking, sweating, turning a pale, sickly white.
"Will, your scents going away. I could smell your fear, but it isn't there, my senses--" Oz breathed in sharply, living the dream he had in detention.
"His heightened sense are departing, his werewolf demon is leaving him, being replaced by this Sorcerer," Giles wiped his glasses, "This isn't good. If the demon is only true for three days a month, it's a very big part of Oz the rest of the month. Oz is fighting this demon right now. If he loses, and he will, he will most likely die."
"No!" sobbed Emily and Willow. Oz's dad was just figuring out what was going on, and was utterly confused.
"I won't let that happen. It's my fault. I should have stopped the bloody bugger," Spike took a deep breath, "Allswothy, tretchen bock. Take thy kissed, leave thy mock," and he bent down to Oz's mouth..
Oz let out a yell, of either pain or fright, and their lips touched, for a long 2 seconds.
Spike fell backward, and Oz, after a second of shock, sat up, and wiped his mouth vigorously. Spike shook, until he sat up, smiling, "Oz, are you feeling the sudden urge to kiss anyone?"
"Only to howl at the moon, but that's normal," Oz stumbled away form Spike, towards Willow.
"That was disgusting," he whispered to her.
"Oh, c'mon, don't I get a thanks? I saved your ruddy life!" Spike yelled.
"Yeah, thanks, but you couldn't have let Buffy do it? I'd rather have been kissed by a girl."
Giles caught Buffy's attention, and motioned to Mrs. Osborne.
Spike rolled his eyes, and after a minute, turned to Buffy. Spike yelled out, and stumbled backward.
"She kissed your mother, Oz, she's possessed now," Cordelia announced, calming Spike a bit.
Oz ran to his mother and father, who were looking very confused, and worn out. Emily joined her family.
"Mom, dad," Oz hugged them both, as well as Emily.
"Are you alright? Emily, it's okay," Mr. Osborne hugged his daughter.
Mrs. Osborne kissed her son, then stared at him, confused, "Danny, are you alright? Who is that?" she pointed to Buffy, "And why did that man say you were a werewolf?"
"Willow, memory charm time," Oz stood up, and pointed to his parents and sister.
Emily looked scared, she knew that she would forget everything if Willow zapped her, "No, I would appreciate remembering this! Please!"
"Oz, your call," Willow turned to her boyfriend, who was lying on the ground, ready to collapse.
"Sure, sure," he sighed, rubbing his head, then his mouth, again.

"Alright, this is it," whispered Spike, taking hold of Buffy's thin shoulders.
Why was he excited? He hated this person. He should be killing her right now, not kissing the bloody slayer!
Buffy stared at him blankly, then parted her lips.
Spike swallowed the lump in his throat as her lips began to crack and widen.
"Allswothy, tretchen bock. Take the kissed, leave thy mock," Spike said, and leaned in to kiss Buffy.
Their lips locked, and Spike was filled with something he hadn't felt before, something almost, good.
It was probably just the demon leaving her and entering him.
Hopefully.
Spike fell backwards, the demons inside him fighting. Buffy stared at him. The demon had been weak, so she had had a lot of control during the brief seconds of the kiss. She had been kissing a vamp, but it almost felt ... Buffy shook any thoughts like that out of her head, and watched as Spike stood up before all of them.
He wiped sweat from his brow, and nodded to them.
It was gone.

"What was with Oz?" Willow asked Spike, before he could think about leaving the scoobies.
"Oz, how long have you been a werewolf?" Spike asked.
"I've only gone through three changes, so about three months," Oz rubbed his eyes, tired and beat.
"Oh, well that explains it. Who bit you? A young werewolf?"
"Very young," Oz nodded, where was he going?
"Well, if you have only had the demon in you for three months, it really has only had about nine days to grow, because a werewolf demon is a large part of you 28 days a month. That isn't much time to develop. Also, the demon was weak in the first place, very young. You'll have a stronger one within a few years," Spike kicked a chair lightly, only nudging it. He was slowly starting to come out of whatever goodie-goodie trance he had been in.
"Don't expect me to be so nice in the future," he hissed. The demon inside him was active now, he was suddenly meaner.
Spike bowed to them, and left through the back door, behind the stacks, lighting a cigarette. What had ever possessed him to be so-- nice?

The Next Day
"Do your parents remember anything?" Willow asked Oz, rubbing his sore shoulders.
The group was outside, at a park. Enjoying the day, for once.
"Nope, no one does. Except for Emily, of course," Oz rubbed his eyes.
"Did you tell her that you were a wolf boy?" asked Xander, shoving a Twinkie in his mouth.
"Yeah. She already knew that Jordy was one, so I guess me being one kind made sense to her," Oz shrugged, wanting to go home and sleep, talking this much was wearing him out.
"That's cool," Buffy said. Out of the corner of her eyes, she saw something. Something in the shadows of the parks, under the trees.
Buffy looked closer, there was a figure in the shadows.
"Buffy, do you want to come with us?" Willow asked again.
"Wh-what?" Buffy looked away from the shadows, at Xander, Willow and Oz.
"We're going to get some food, you coming?" Xander asked, glancing at the shadows of the trees, "Is there something wrong?"
"No, of course not. Yeah, I'm hungry," Buffy got up and they all left.

From the shadows, Spike breathed a sigh of relief. For a good minute it looked like she had seen him.
Spike stretched, and considered trying to make it back to the factory. He would be in broad daylight. When he got there, Dru and Angel would be wondering what had happened last night, and he wasn't prepared to telling them he had helped the slayer. He also wasn't prepared to tell them he had kissed the slayer. Demon or no demon possessing her, kissing the enemy was definitely frowned upon.
That was probably why Spike wanted to do it again.
Spike shook that from his head, and watched as the slayer and her friends walked away.
He sighed again, and began to wonder what it would be like to turn good, work with those scoobies. He had to admit, it had been fun. To be on the light side for once. As opposed to the dark side. The white side maybe? Never mind what it was called, Spike enjoyed it. he helped people. He hadn't helped someone for hundreds of years. It was ruddy fun.
What the hell was he thinking?
He couldn't turn good. It would take some big natural disaster to turn him good. Maybe a death threat or something. Hell, it would take the government putting a chip in his head to make him be on the same side as the slayer.
Spike nodded to himself. Unless a chip was placed in his head, forcing him to be a good little vampire, he would stay on the dark side.

Spike lit a cigarette, and walked father into the shadows, trying not to think about the slayer. Or her friends. He focused his thoughts on feeding. He was hungry, hadn't eaten for a day or two. Being good had given him an appetite.
